The New House!

I know it's been a long time since I posted and there are very good reasons there has been no update till now. We are in the process of closing on our Knottsville home, hopefully in a couple weeks! Huge praise! We are also pretty much moved into the Pellville house, with the exception of a couple big pieces, some clothes and misc items! I had my last final of the semester this week and we also celebrated Brooks 1st Bday! Needless to say, it's been a busy week.
I have a few pics of the house to this point. I will work on more pictures soon. I know a few have memories of G and G's house before, so you'll notice the improvements we have made! ENJOY!

This is the Master Bedroom.

This is the upstairs bedroom, now Layni's suite. This picture doesn't show all of her belongings and pictures on the wall, but you can see the changes.

This is another view of Layni's suite.

This is the view from the dining room into the living room space. (definitely need an upgrade on the TV)!!

This is a view from the dining area into the kitchen. The kitchen is decorated for Brooks bday party. The kitchen is also unfinished we won't have countertops for a few more days.

Brooks Turns 1 Years Old!

We had a birthday party for Brooks at our new house, which was an accomplishment beyond belief. We wanted to have the new house mostly in order, because we're never sure when everyone will get a chance to come back. I will be posting a new blog of some house pics as well!!
But the important stuff now!!!! Brooks the Birthday Boy!

Brooks getting started eating some food. This boy LOVES to eat, anything. I have nicknamed him "trash can", because you can't fill him up! Good football name, don't ya think?!

After playing around with the icing and wondering why everyone was staring at him, he finally dug into the cake with both hands! So much fun!

My precious little boy loving all his new trucks! It is difficult for me to believe he is already 1 years old. The saying holds true, "My how time flies!"
